About Torch & Twang
Torch & Twang brings together vocalist Alissa and guitarist John, a passionate acoustic player with years of experience refining his craft. Over the past 15 years, Alissa has built her sound on the songs that last, blending classic rock, pop, folk, soul, and Latin standards into performances across South Florida. Together, they anchor the music in clean, acoustic arrangements that feel timeless and natural.
For both Alissa and John, the approach is straightforward: respect the room, play with sincerity, and let the music earn its place. Whether taking the stage as a duo or collaborating with an expanded lineup, the goal remains the same, to create an easy, unhurried atmosphere where people feel right at home.
